Every moment makes a contribution,
Every little detail plays a part.
Having just the vision's no solution,
Everything depends on execution.
Putting it together --
That's what counts.

There are no mistakes. The events we bring upon ourselves, no matter
how unpleasant, are necessary in order to learn what we need to learn;
whatever steps we take, they're necessary to reach the places we've
chosen to go.
Whatever enchants, also guides and protects. Passionately obsessed by
anything we love -- sailboats, airplanes, ideas -- an avalanche of magic
flattens the way ahead, levels rules, reason, dissents, bears us with
it over chasms, fears, doubts. Without the power of that love, we're
boats becalmed on the seas of boredom, and those are deadly...
