Good concept. Hedge wizard (i.e. not related to or participating in the Order) or member of the Order perceived as a kabbalistic mystic by the mundanes? Actually, I believe there is a House of the Order for hedge wizards. I'll check the rules. Keep in mind that after the Massacre the Order's centralized authority has been broken -- so in the present his affiliation doesn't really matter; but in the past it might have.

Good, although I think that if you want to make Andres an apprentice Magus, there are special (non-Companion) rules for that. Not sure -- remind me to check the rules.

So instead of Elijiah being a, what was the word, converso or something like that, Andres is a convert in the other direction. I like that. Andres, if he's not from the Jewish community but instead a convert, is going to have a rough life, though. Not that that's bad, dramatically speaking.
