Because they'll disappear if I don't write them down ...
(1) Possibility of parallel storylines. This is perfectly fine with me. The storylines may be related, or unrelated. It might be refreshing to alternate weeks -- the Italian expedition, as I've been researching and creating adventure material for it, is becoming steadily more Byzantine (in the traditional sociopolitical sense). People might enjoy a totally unrelated, more-BF&I-style (BF&I = Brute Force & Ignorance) storyline on alternate weeks, to keep from drowning in obscure Italian feuds and allegiances. This also raises the possibility of having a different Storyguide for the alternate storyline ... I've never tried multiple-refereeing before, ever, in fifteen years of gaming, so I have no idea how to handle it. The _AM_ system seems better-able to handle this sort of thing than other games I've played, though.
(2) 'Conciliar', also known as 'Rockspeak.' Anyone have any RL or historical notes on how long it takes for a 'lingua fraca' (sp?) to evolve? Like 'franglaise' in Paris? Just a passing thought. What would Conciliar sound like? Italian + Slavic + Arabic loanwords with Latin grammar? Whee. Too much coffee. I can hear my brain humming.

Wow! Linguistics comes in handy! A lingua franca can probably reach say, level 2 or 3 in game terms in about ten years or so, and if children grow up speaking it, it will evolve into a fully-functional creole as they learn it as a natural language.
