"Mike, a house rules question: At an earlier session some time ago, it was mentioned that the Concilium was using 35 + Stamina as the age at which people start taking aging rolls. Are we using that, or are we using 35 as a strict cut-off (I believe the appropriate people made rolls for 1325 anyway, with everyone making the rolls)?"
Ack!!!! Double ack!!! Did I say that? No, I was mad, I mean, it was obviously my evil twin.
Thus sayeth the Storyguide:
(1) 35 is the absolute cut-off. Period. End of story.
(2) For the purposes of game mechanics, everyone ages a year at the beginning of each Spring.
(3) Aging rolls are always done at the end of Winter of each year, rolls made as per the rules in AM 3rd ed.
Therefore:
(a) We began the game in Autumn of 1325.
(b) In Winter of 1325, every character who was 35 or older should have
made an aging role. If we missed someone, consider yourself blessed by
the gods. Lucky you.
(c) At the beginning of Spring of 1326, everyone aged one year.
(d) It is now early Spring of 1326.
(e) The next aging roll will take place at the end of Winter of 1326.
Every character who is 35 or older will make an aging roll.
For those of you who are worried about your age, and are thinking about brewing a longevity potion, this means that you have four Seasons -- Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter of 1326 -- to come up with a potion to help you avoid deleterious effects.
Further, since we can assume from what we have discussed that (a) you need vis, (b) Spring of 1326 will be used to come up with a likely place to find it, and (c) the Vis Hunt will begin on the First Day of Summer of 1326; you will therefore have the remnant of the Summer, as well as all of Autumn and Winter of 1326 to brew longevity potions/charms/etc.
Whew. Did I get it all?
